Klewin Construction is selected by the School Board of St. Lucie County for Construction Manager at Risk on a Continuing Contract Basis
Port St. Lucie, FLPort St. Lucie, FL- Klewin Construction is pleased to announce that they have recently been selected to act as construction manager by the School Board of St. Lucie County for Construction Manager at Risk services on a continuing contract basis. Under the contract, Klewin will perform work for the School District of St. Lucie County for specific construction projects as determined by the District. “We have had a great partnership and experience working with the School Board of St. Lucie County and are thrilled to have been selected to perform work on a continuing basis. Klewin Construction selected by Florida International University to act as Construction Manager for the new International Hurricane Research Center
Miami, FLMiami, FL - Klewin Construction is pleased to announce that they have recently been selected to act as construction manager for FIU's International Hurricane Research Center in Miami FL. The project consists of a new 10 million dollar facility that will house four separate laboratories, a wind tunnel, a seminar/training room and an educational, interactive lobby. The building will not only house academic researchers, but will also serve as a hub for coordinating with federal and state agencies, such as the National Hurricane Center and the National Weather Service's Miami Weather Forecast Office, NOAA's Hurricane Research Division, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), and Florida Division of Emergency Management and other governmental agencies. "We are delighted to have been selected to act as the construction manager for this renowned project. Klewin Construction selected by Indian River State College to construct their new Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Building
West Palm Beach, FLPort St. Lucie, FL - Klewin Construction is pleased to announce that they have recently been awarded the Science, Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Building located at the Indian River State College St. Lucie West Campus in Port St. Lucie Florida. The project consists of a new 18.5 million dollar, 54,000 square foot educational facility. The three story building will include new classrooms and will house seven laboratories in emerging fields such as genetics, ecology, and microbiology. The building will be constructed to meet the LEED Silver Standard for energy conservation. “We are extremely honored to have been selected for this project. Klewin Construction selected to serve as the construction manager for the construction of the Council on Aging of Martin County
Stuart, FLKlewin Construction is pleased to announce that they have recently been selected to serve as the construction manager for the construction of the Council on Aging of Martin County. The $7.8 million, 33,000 square foot LEED Certified facility is dedicated to the care and well-being of the aging and elderly population in Martin County. The building, associated parking and access ways is located on 9.1 acres and will consist of care and management programs, administrative offices, a commercial kitchen, wellness center, auditorium, adult day care, medical / pharmacy (PACE/Medical Wing), town center entrance, and protected courtyard and pet shelter. “We are honored to be selected to participate in this project and look forward to completing another successful project,” said Byron Tramonte, Project Manager for Klewin Construction.

Klewin Construction has been selected as Construction Manager for the FAU Harbor Branch Link Building
West Palm Beach, Fort Pierce Florida April 2009Klewin Construction is pleased to announce that they have recently been selected to serve as the construction manager for the site development, construction, and renovation of the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute at Florida Atlantic University Link Building in Fort Pierce, FL. The project will include demolition and renovation of the existing 40,000 square foot buidling, including library, office and laboratory space. Additionally, the Link Building will be built as a LEED Silver certified building. “We are thrilled to be selected to participate in another project with Florida Atlantic University and look forward to completing another successful project together with FAU,” said Jack Ullrich, President of Klewin Construction.

Klewin Construction Staff Passes LEED Accreditation!

Klewin Construction recently completed the Chief Herman W. Brice Fire & Rescue Administrative & Training Complex in Palm Beach County.
West Palm Beach, FL January 2009Klewin Construction is pleased to announce that they have recently successfully completed work at the Herman W. Brice Fire Rescue Administrative & Training Complex in Palm Beach County. The project consisted of pre-construction and construction services for the improvement of 46 acres of State landfill. Improvements consisted of approximately 93,000 square feet of building including a 12,000 square foot, six story tower building for fire rescue training. “We are pleased to announce the completion of the Chief Herman W. Brice Fire Rescue complex for County of Palm Beach. It is a state of the art training and administration complex. I would like to give big thanks to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Department and it has been a pleasure working with the staff there as well as hats off to the onsite staff from Klewin Construction for all of the hard work, long hours and timeless dedication that went into constructing this class first-class building.
